Pre-care Instructions:
30 DAYS PRIOR
Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion
Botox injection and fillers should be performed no less than 4 weeks prior. They can alter the position of your brows and the texture of your skin.
Must not be on Antibiotics
Absolutely no Anti-aging and/or Anti-acne products
No Retin A within 30 days of treatment (No Accutane within one year of treatment)
No Surgery of any kind
2 WEEKS PRIOR
Do NOT use a tanning bed 2 weeks prior. If you have a sunburn at the time of the appointment, you will be rescheduled and forfeit your deposit.
Avoid waxing or tinting 2 weeks prior to service.
48-72 HOURS PRIOR
Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDS, vitamin E, fish oil or vitamins unless medically necessary 48-72 hours before. Must get dr. note if on prescribed blood thinners.
24 HOURS PRIOR-NO EXCEPTIONS
Avoid working out the day before and the day of your appointment.
Avoid alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
Avoid caffeine!! (soda, coffee, etc.)
Feel free to wear your brow makeup if you choose to provide an idea. (Pictures also acceptable)
Please hydrate
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Avoid booking on your menstrual cycle if possible as it can increase your pain.
The skin must be free of all irritations including ingrown hairs, blemishes, eczema, and psoriasis.
You will forfeit your deposit and need to reschedule your appointment if you:
Do not follow our Pre Care Guidelines
Arrive with skin irritations or a sunburn on your face
Arrive at our studio sick with a cold, flu, or viral/bacterial infection
I have every right to decline a client upon consultation if the skin is not right for the process. If at anytime a client insists on proceeding with the process despite all exceptions then a doctor’s note is necessary.
After-care Instructions:
AVOID IMMEDIATELY AFTER
Getting your brows wet for the first 7 days (if you cogently pat them dry with clean tissue)
Direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks afterwards. Wear a hat when outdoors.
Facials, Botox, Chemical treatment or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
Excessive exercise for 1 week
Sleeping on your face for the first week
Getting your face in water, swimming, until you are done with healing and free of flakes/scabs.
Topical makeup and sunscreen on the treated area until they are fully healed.
DO NOT:
RUB, PICK OR SCRATCH in the treated area (very crucial to obtain optimal results)
Let scabbing exfoliate away naturally. Picking can cause scarring or loss of color,
CLEANING
Provided after brow procedure is and A&D ointment~ USE ON THE 3RD DAY (approximately 2 weeks) until scabbing is complete.
Use twice a day, small amount in a q-tip and gently place on your eyebrows.
AFTER SCABBING IS COMPLETE
You can discontinue ointment and return to your daily routine with some exceptions.
Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating properties in your facial cleanser on your brows (around your eyebrow area are okay).
Use sunscreen on your brows if your daily moisturizer does not contain SPF.
If your daily moisturizer contains retinol, anti-aging, skin brightening or lightening agents, please avoid use on your eyebrows, Only use around your eyebrows.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All tattoos carry the inherent risk of infection and/or allergic reaction, if pain or tenderness persists for longer than a few days, consult with your doctor Immediately!
